VT3 ranking system

According to this xbox.com thread you only earn points for winning new tournaments.

While Topspin 2 had a pretty realy ranking system VT3 seems to be built on career accomplishments as far as I can tell.
Usually your points expire one year after you earned them (or at the start of new year in regard of Race points).

VT3 on the other hand just moves you up a few spots for every match/tournament won. I haven't tried to not play any tournaments for a whole year yet, though.
